Life Lately: San Francisco, part 2

I'll be honest: being home from San Francisco and back to my usual routine on campus is bittersweet. But before I let it go completely, here is a quick round-up of what I wore during my trip. Business casual and business professional attire was required for the majority of the conference. So I packed enough dresses, skirts, and blazers to last me the trip. If I could wear pencil skirts and heels every day of my life, I would.

My definition of business casual includes patterns and colors, but I always try to include a classic piece: a red dress with a classic black blazer or a green cardigan with a gray pencil skirt. I felt mature, yet youthful and entirely myself. Professional dress doesn't mean sacrificing your own personal style for a black business suit - though I love those too! I am glad to be defining my happy medium.
