Influenster VoxBox: beauty blogger edition

I was very excited to receive a VoxBox from Influenster this month! I received my first VoxBox back in July and had the best time playing with all the goodies inside. This one was packed full of hair, make-up, and beauty samples. I am not much of a beauty blogger yet, but some of these products are extremely budget-friendly and worth sharing. Here is what arrived in my box:

NYC New York Color Custom Compact. This compact comes with just about everything for a smokey eye. It includes the primer, illuminator, and eye shadows. I haven't tried it yet since the colors are a little dark for daytime wear, but the kit looks promising!

Kiss Ever Pro Lashes Starter Kit. I have never used fake lashes. They scare me. But this complete kit has everything I need to try. Maybe I'll record my first time and upload it if I don't happen to blind myself in the process. We could all use a laugh, right?

Bath & Body Works Candle. This little candle smells heavenly, like a crisp autumn afternoon of cinnamon and apples. I think I'll be investing a full size one soon!

Goody Simple Styles Spin Pin. I had been dying to try these pins since I first saw them at Target! They are a fun alternative to bobby pins and make it super easy for me to throw my hair up in a bun when I'm just not feeling my typical sock bun. I'm putting together a video tutorial on this wonderful little invention soon, so keep an eye open.

Kinky Moves Curl Defining Hair Cream. Obviously I don't have curly hair, but this cream makes a wonderful texturizing and scrunching cream. I flipped my hair upside down while it was still damp, scrunched some of the cream through, and it produced a semi-wavy texture for the rest of the day. If your hair is anything like mine, you'd know what a miracle this is! My only complaint is the grape seed fragrance.

Vitabath Fragrance Mist. This is the only thing in my VoxBox that I didn't like. It smells like cheap men's cologne, which means I smelled like I had been rolling around in bed with someone. Not flattering. But it does honestly last the entire day - which is a good quality in body spray. It comes in 15 other fragrances that might be worth a try.
