Guest post: the perfect fall outfit

Most of you know that I'm in San Fransisco this week on business (and a little fun). And I am exciting to have some of my favorite ladies blogging for me while I am gone! Fellow college gal and blogger is the beautiful face behind The Adored Life. I love her classic, down-to-earth sense of style. I am a little jealous of her beautiful curls, and a lot obsessed with the outfit she's sharing today. Here is proof that five items can make up the perfect fall outfit:

Hi there! I’m Alissa from The Adored Life where I blog about college fashion, life and other ramblings. My life consists of studying, my boyfriend of two years and obsessively putting together outfits when I have free time. Fall my absolute favorite time of the year, the activities, smells, the sound of leaves falling, baking and of course, the fashion is the best all year round!

Today I am showing you what I consider to be 5 classic fall items that you should have in your closet. 1) A sheer, cream ruffle top 2) comfortable, dark jeans 3) a trendy belt 4) dark blazer 5) BOOTS! I love incorporating trends with this look; I’m always on a budget so I like to update my wardrobe staples with small things like belts and accessories.

Since I am in college I often have long days where I am on campus from 7:30a.m. to 6p.m. which means that I have a lot of weather to deal with, especially in Kansas. The blazer is a perfect way to add warmth to a sheer top in the morning, in the afternoon I can take it off for warmer temperatures and then put it back on in the evening.

Add a cute belt and boots and you are set for the rest of the day! This is a really great outfit that takes me from class to my job in an office while still comfortable. Thanks to Callie for letting me guest post!
