Thrifter Thursday: back to basics

Hello to another round of Thrifter Thursdays! If you're new to the link-up, check out the details here. I felt like a walking billboard for thrifters and do-it-yourself-ers in this outfit, since everything but my sandals happened on a budget. This gray ribbed tank and denim vest (repeated last week) are my thrifted items of the week. The red maxi skirt and Anthropologie look-a-like necklace are both my own creations, but equally as budget-friendly. I'm cheap, you guys.

I've been on a bit of a maxi binge lately. The weather has been warming up a lot and easy outfits have been my go-to. The Weather Channel predicts 95 this weekend and I am not excited. If you follow me on Twitter, I think autumn is all that I have been talking about. Sort of pathetic, since we have a month or two left of warm weather. Oh well.
